Ace Café

A passion, based upon the authentic roots of motorbikes and rock n' roll, Ace café was originally opened in 1938 and designed to accommodate the traffic traveling on the then new North Circular Road. The cafe was rebuilt in 1949 after world War II air raid. Many young people started to meet at the cafe with their motorcycles and listen to Rock'n'Roll music. The cafe established itself as a cultural hub for rockers, and many bands and motorcycle enthusiast groups formed there. The Ace Cafe was refurbished and reopened in 2001, and has become also famous for its various classic and sports car gatherings. It is also currently used as the base for the Channel 5 programme "Fifth Gear"

Ace café was designed and built by riders and fellow petrol-heads, so make the most of the facilities and activities to ensure its history lives on. You will be surprised to know that Ace Café is just walking distance from the hotel.

Wembley Arena

The world’s most famous indoor music venue, Wembley Arena is a spectacular setting for events. With a maximum capacity of around 12,750, the Arena plays host to major music stars throughout the year.

Wembley National Stadium

It is currently the largest roof-covered stadium in Europe. The all-seater stadium is based around a bowl design with a capacity of 90,000, protected from the extreme weather by a sliding roof. It stands opposite Wembley Arena.

The new Wembley stadium is a significant part of the plan for the 2012 summer Olympics to be held in London. The stadium will be the site of several games in both the men's and women's football tournaments, with the finals planned to be held there.

The Conference Centre was the first purpose built Conference Centre in the UK and in its opening year saw more than 350,000 people visiting 300 events. Church of St Andrew

Originally built in 1847 in Wells Street near Oxford Circus, it was moved brick by brick to its present location in 1934. Many of the original Victorian fittings survived the journey. A church of the same name, was built by James Brook in 1896 in Willesden High Road. It is an excellent example of Victorian style early English architecture, and also worth seeing.

Shri Swami Narayan Hindu Temple

The Hindu temple is "an enormous and exotic sight among the suburban houses of north-west London" proclaims The Times. Taking only three years from concept to consecration, this beautiful and astonishing Hindu temple was built with the use of 2000 tons of Italian marble and nearly 3000 tons of Bulgarian limestone.

The exhibition Understanding Hinduism at the temple is an attempt to explore the intricacies of this religion. The temple inspired by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj is Europe’s first traditional Hindu temple and the largest outside Asia

This unique temple is the only traditional Hindu mandir outside India. Named the "Eighth Wonder of the World" by Reader's Digest; the temple was constructed by volunteers. More than 15,000 craftsmen did the magnificent carving in India, before being sent to London for assembly in 1995. School children visit this temple in groups. World religious leaders Archbishops, World leading politicians, members of Royal family have visited and wished the temples work.
